Community Rules

These rules keep PolyWorld fun and safe. Breaking them can lead to warnings, content removal, temporary bans, or permanent bans. Staff decisions are final.

1. Be respectful

  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, or bullying.
  • No discrimination based on identity, background, or beliefs.
  • Don't spam chat, comments, friend requests, or private messages.

2. Keep it appropriate

  • No sexual content, pornography, or sexualization of minors ever.
  • No extreme gore, real-world violence glorification, or shocking content meant to upset others.
  • Usernames, bios, place titles, thumbnails, clothing, and chat must follow the filter and these rules.
  • When the filter is being worked on, you should still not use banned words. Remember that all chat messages are logged.
  • PolyWorld is intended for users 13 and older.

3. Don't cheat or abuse the platform

  • No exploits, hacks, bots, or unauthorized clients that give unfair advantages.
  • No scamming players for Bricks, Bux, items, accounts, or personal information.
  • Don't manipulate economy systems, claim rewards fraudulently, or abuse bugs for gain, report bugs instead.
  • Don't attempt to disrupt game servers, the website, or other players' sessions.

4. Account & identity

  • One person should not create accounts only to evade bans or harass others.
  • Don't share your session cookie or password. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • Don't impersonate staff, other players, or brands in a misleading way.
  • Don't ask for or share real-life personal information of others.

5. User-generated content

  • You may create places, catalog items, scripts, and avatars that follow these rules and the Terms.
  • Don't upload stolen assets you don't have rights to use (such as copyrighted content), or content that infringes others' copyrights/trademarks.
  • Don't use PolyWorld to distribute malware, phishing links, or illegal material.
  • Staff may remove or unpublish content that breaks the rules without notice.

6. Enforcement

  • Actions may include mutes, content deletion, temporary bans, permanent bans, or account termination.
  • Ban evasion can result in additional bans on related accounts.
  • There are 2 types of bans, however they are usually used together: Game bans and Site bans.
  • Game bans are an IP ban that prevents you from joining any games. (you will notice this by spawning on a neon green baseplate with battle tools)
  • Site bans affect your account and instantly logs you out. (you will notice this by being redirected to a banned page)
  • Appeals may be discussed on our Discord; we don't guarantee a reversal.
