Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PolyWorld. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed these Terms with you.

2. Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your password and session secure.
• You must provide accurate registration information and not use offensive or impersonating usernames.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Rules.
• We may reclaim inactive or abusive usernames in limited cases.

3. The Service

PolyWorld is an online platform for playing and creating multiplayer experiences, including user-generated places, avatars, catalog items, and scripts. Features may change, break, or be discontinued at any time. The Service is provided as is and may include bugs, downtime, or data loss.

PolyWorld is inspired by classic-era ROBLOX-style experiences. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. ROBLOX is a trademark of its respective owners.

4. User content

• You retain ownership of original content you create (places, scripts, images you upload, etc.), subject to the rights below.
• By uploading or publishing content on PolyWorld, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, modify (for formatting/technical needs), and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service.
• You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload and that it does not violate law or these Terms.
• We may remove content or restrict visibility without notice.

5. Virtual items & currency

• Bricks and Bux are virtual items for use only on PolyWorld. They have no real-world cash value and are not redeemable for money.
• Purchases, claims, exchanges, and catalog trades are final unless we decide otherwise.
• We may adjust balances, rates, or item availability to fix errors, abuse, or economy issues.
• If your account is terminated for Terms/Rules violations, virtual items may be forfeited.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by cheating, exploiting, attacking infrastructure, scraping at abusive rates, reverse engineering for circumvention, distributing malware, or violating the Community Rules. We may investigate and take technical or legal action.

7. Software clients

Desktop clients, Studio, and web clients are licensed for personal use with PolyWorld. You may not redistribute our binaries as your own product, remove branding in a deceptive way, or use unofficial modified clients to bypass security or gain unfair advantages.

8. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR VIRTUAL ITEMS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes may also be announced via site banner or Discord.
